YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. Patricia Rice of Yorktown Heights died July 19 after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 64.
Rice was born in Bronx, N.Y., to Katherine and Patrick McLaughlin. She graduated from St. Helena's Business School in 1964. Rice worked at Met Life her entire career before retiring. She then took on a part-time job at Yorktown Town Hall.
She married her husband, Stephen Rice, in 1971. He survives her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and enjoyed going on trips to Atlantic City.
Rice is survived by two daughters KerryAnn (Mike) Nagle and Erin (Michael) Mehlig, two brothers William (Ann) Murphy and Timothy (Roseann) Murphy, two sisters Mary (Warren) Peschel and Catty (Connie) Higgins, a grandson and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. A funeral Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights.
