YORKTOWN, N.Y. – William Brewster Walker, 58, died of cancer on Jan. 30.
Walker was born on May 7, 1956, to William and Elizabeth Roy Walker in Mount Kisco. He attended school in Yorktown Heights, before moving with his parents to Yarmouth Port, Mass. He graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth High School in 1975 and went on to a career as a painter and carpenter. He graduated from Cape Cod Community College, where he discovered his love of writing and went on to study at the University of Massachusetts. He loved living on Cape Cod after spending his summers as a child at Brewster Park.
Walker is survived by a sister and brother-in-law of Melbourne, Fla; and supporters at Alcoholics Anonymous.
