YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Brewster man was charged with violating an order of protection after police received a complaint from the woman who was granted the protective mandate.

According to the Yorktown Police Department, Frank Guida Jr., 52, contacted the female victim in November in violation of an order of protection issued by the Yorktown Justice Court. An arrest warrant was issued and Guida turned himself in on Jan. 14.

He was charged with second-degree criminal contempt and was remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending a Feb. 25 court appearance in lieu of a $10,000 bond or $5,000 cash bail.
