YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old Bronx man is facing a third-degree bail jumping charge for a Yorktown infraction after police caught up with him in a Bronx court on an unrelated charge, police said.
Joshua E. Colon, of Evergreen Street, Bronx, is free after posting $1,000 cash bail. He's facing the misdemeanor bail jumping charge after failing to show up for Oct. 27 and Nov. 17 court dates in Yorktown Justice Court on a charge of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.
He was arrested by Yorktown police Tuesday when he was at Bronx Criminal Court for unrelated charges, police said. A bench warrant for his arrest was issued out of Yorktown on Nov. 17, police said.
He's due back in Yorktown Town Court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
