Car Crashes Into Yorktown Medical Center

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- An elderly couple visiting a medical complex at 2649 Strang Blvd. around 11 a.m. Thursday crashed into one of the pillars of the building, causing damage, according to the Yorktown Police.

Both the man and woman, received severe injuries and had to be cut out of their vehicle by members of the Yorktown Fire Department using the Jaws of Life, said Jackie Sullivan, assistant to the Fire Chief.

Both were rushed to Westchester Medical Center in serious condition, Sullivan added.
