YORKTOWN, N.Y. - A Chappaqua man is facing a misdemeanor charge after he illegally violated an order of protection and was arrested on Monday in Yorktown.

According to a release issued by Yorktown Police Sgt. Craig Scatola, Chappaqua resident Andrew Vincent, 44, has been charged with second-degree criminal contempt after violating an order of protection.

On Monday, Dec. 12, police were dispatched to New Chalet Drive to investigate the alleged violation. Upon interviewing the victim, first responders determined that Vincent “violated a duly served temporary order of protection” by going near the residence of the protected party.
