State Police In Cortlandt Seek Public's Help In Bank Fraud Case

CORTLANDT, N.Y. –  The State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in relation to a bank fraud investigation.

After an investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Cortlandt barracks, it was found that various forged checks were brought to two different TD Bank locations in Manhattan in December 2014. The payment of the forged checks resulted in the theft of more than $1,600.

Anyone with information regarding the transaction or the subject's identity is asked to contact Investigator Sean J. Morgan at 914-788-8044 or 914-769-2600. Callers will need to refer to case number 6001830.
