Crash Closes Taconic Parkway In Yorktown, Causes Serious Injuries

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- State Police are investigating a serious accident that occurred near FDR Park and has shut down the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown Heights.

The accident was reported at 3:45 p.m.

According to state police at the Cortlandt barracks, it was a four-car accident. Police declined to provide further information since the accident remains under investigation.

State police at the Hawthorne barracks said the accident caused serious injuries.
