Employee Accused Of Stealing $950 From JV Mall Store

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 23-year-old Stony Point man working at Zumiez in the Jefferson Valley Mall, is accused of stealing $950 from the night deposits, Yorktown police said, according to a story on Patch.com.

He was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, and is scheduled to appear Dec. 3 in Yorktown Town Court to answer the theft charge following his arrest Oct. 28, the story said.

Police said the theft occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 12 while the man was working at the store, the story said.
