Erratic Driving Complaints Leads To Man's DWI Arrest In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and driving with an expired registration Friday after police received a report of an erratic driver on Summit Street in Yorktown Heights.

Neil M. Quinn was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and Driving While Intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, a misdemeanor as well as several traffic infractions, including the expired registration.

Police spotted a vehicle matching the erratic driver's description and said he failed to signal a turn, police said. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation revealed he was driving while intoxicated, police said. He was arrested and transported to headquarters.

Quinn was released to a third party after posting $100 bail. He is due back in court on July 25.

Last year, Quinn was arrested and charged with choking a woman and threatening her with a knife.
