A woman reported to county police on Monday, Oct. 30 that she was being harassed by her ex-boyfriend and his current girlfriend on Facebook, prompting police intervention.
Police said that both parties were contacted by an officer and advised that the complainant planned to pursue charges if they failed to stop contacting her as she requested. There have been no further allegations of harassment reported since the officer intervened.
Other items on the Mount Kisco Police blotter between Monday, Oct. 30 and Friday, Nov. 3 include:
- County police are investigating a case of identity fraud after a woman reported on Oct. 31 that someone had attempted to open a line of credit by using her name and information. The case remains under active investigation.
- Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, a 13-year-old boy reported that another kid had punched him in the face the day before on Barker Street. Police said the boy stated that the assault was connected to an ongoing dispute that he is having at school. The school has since been notified by the boy’s mother and the case was turned over to detectives.
- On Friday afternoon, county police were dispatched to Canterbury Way following reports of a man that was yelling in the street and causing a disturbance. After police arrived, the man returned to his home and the neighbor who initially made the report stated he did not wish to pursue the matter further.
