Five Face Assault Charges After Fight In Yorktown Leaves One Person Injured

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Three Mahopac men and two teenagers are facing assault charges in connection with a fight that left the victim with cuts, bruises and an eye injury, police said.

According to Yorktown police, who made the arrests with the help of Carmel authorities, the suspects are: Louis J. Prokos, 24; Blaid M. Terhune, 22; Michael W. Guidice, 19; and a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, whose names were being withheld because of their age.

All five were charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, but Guidice was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing, both misdemeanors, police said.

An order of protection was issued against all five on behalf of the victim, police said.

Both the 16-year-old and Terhune were released on their recognizance, police said.

Prokos made his $1,000 bail, and Guidice, his $500 bail, and both was set for Prokos and a bail of $500 was set for Guidice, police said.

Both bails were posted and the two were released, police said.

The 17-year-old was released into the custody of his parents, police said.
