TARRYTOWN, N.Y. David Votta, 47, of Hastings-on-Hudson, was arrested Friday in Tarrytown on charges stemming from a tire-slashing incident in Yorktown.
On July 26, a patron at the South Side Inn reported to Yorktown police that his tires had been slashed. After an investigation, police obtained a warrant for Votta's arrest.
Votta was taken to Yorktown police headquarters and arraigned in Yorktown Town Court. He was released after posting $500 bail is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 30.

A Mohegan Lake resident was arrested Monday, Aug. 20, for allegedly violating a protection order obtained by an Ellis Street resident. Police arrested Robert McDonald, 40, after he was reportedly seen in the area throwing a rock at resident's home, police said.
McDonald was found the next day outside of 3479 Lexington Ave. and charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, a class E felony, police said. He was arraigned in Yorktown Town Court and remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections. He will return to court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
