Lake Peekskill Resident Charged With Failure To Appear In Yorktown Court

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A Putnam County woman recently surrendered to Yorktown authorities on a failure to appear charge, according to a press release from the Yorktown Police Department.

Gail Gallante, 63, of Lake Peekskill in Putnam Valley, turned herself in on the evening of Tuesday, May 19, according to police.

Gallante failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court as scheduled on Thursday, May 14, police said.

That case involved a misdemeanor charge of aggravated unlicensed operation and the traffic infraction of operating a motor vehicle while using an electronic device, according to police.

Gallante was processed and later arraigned at Yorktown Justice Court, according to police.

She was then released and ordered to comply with future scheduled court appearances, police said.
