Police said troopers from the Cortlandt barracks stopped the vehicle Hernandez, of Jamaica, N.Y., was operating for failing to maintain its lane of travel.
Following an investigation Hernandez was allegedly found to be intoxicated, according to police.
Hernandez had a blood alcohol content of .20 percent, more than twice the legal limit, and he was issued traffic tickets, police said.
He is due in court Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.
