YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Yorktown police on Monday arrested a New Hampshire man who was wanted for failing to appear in town court.
Missouri Balbuena-Castillo, 27, of Manchester, New Hampshire, was joined by his attorney when he turned himself over to the court about 11:20 a.m. Monday, according to police.
According to authorities, the court notified the police department, which then sent officers to the court to arrest Balbuena-Castillo.
While Yorktown police did not describe the crimes Balbuena-Castillo is alleged to have committed, investigators did say that he was turned over to New York State Park Police, the agency that originally filed charges against the 27-year-old.
According to police, Balbuena-Castill is to return to Yorktown Town Court at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
