YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – John Melucci, a 57-year-old Stamford resident, was charged on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to stay within lane, according to Yorktown police.
Police said an officer was on routine patrol on Route 6 when he observed a vehicle fail to maintain its traffic lane. The officer initiated a traffic stop and a breath test determined that Melucci's blood alcohol content was .18 percent or higher, leading to the aggravated DWI charge, according to police.
Melucci was processed and released to a family member after posting $100 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on May 5 at 6 p.m. for arraignment.
