Man Accused of DWI On Taconic In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A 60-year-old Massachusetts man was charged Wednesday night of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, after he was stopped on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown, the State Police said.

Police stopped Michael Bandzierz around 10:20 p.m. for moving unsafely between lanes. During the stop, Bandzierz took a breath test and recorded a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent, police said.

Bandzierz was processed and released with a ticket to return to court. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Oct. 25.
