Man Accused Of Route 6 Knifepoint Pizzeria Robbery Nabbed In North Carolina

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A 19-year-old Peekskill man accused of robbing a Domino's Pizza in Cortlandt at knifepoint has been arrested in North Carolina, police said.

Following a lengthy multi-state investigation, Thomas Jenkins was arrested in Elizabeth City, N.C., and has been extradited back to New York to face charges.

He has been charged with the following: robbery in the first degree, a Class B felony; robbery in the second degree, a Class C felony; and grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.

It is alleged that on Sept. 5, 2014, in the early morning hours, Jenkins, and co-defendant Kyle Clark, robbed the night manager at the Cortlandt Domino's on Route 6 as he was leaving to make the nightly bank deposit. 

Clark was arrested soon after the incident near the scene.

Clark, has already pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing at the Westchester County Jail.
