Man Charged With DWI On Taconic In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. ‒ State Police arrested a Fairport man Tuesday night for allegedly driving while intoxicated on the Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown.

Stephen McCarthy, 34, was stopped by police around 8:39 p.m. for reportedly moving unsafely between lanes, police said. According to the report, a breathalyzer test showed that McCarthy had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent.

McCarthy was processed and released at Yorktown Town Court and is scheduled to return at 7 p.m on Sept. 4.
