EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- A Clinton Corners man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on the Taconic State Parkway in a traffic stop the day before Thanksgiving, according to New York State police.
Jonathan E. Symer, 61, was stopped Nov. 25 on the parkway for allegedly failing to maintain his designated lane of travel, according to police.
Symer had a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent, more than twice the state legal limit of intoxication, according to police.
He was reportedly released to a sober party, police say.
Symer is due in East Fishkill Court Dec. 9, according to police.
