Robert M. Loftus was supposed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court in October, police said. When he didn't show up, Loftus was charged with third-degree bail jumping, a misdemeanor, police said.

Loftus turned himself in at Yorktown police headquarters on Thursday, March 16. He was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, March 30.
