YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- A Mahopac man was arrested Thursday after Yorktown Police say he violated an order of protection.
Stephen Swett, 40, was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Swett violated a Westchester County Family Court Temporary Order of Protection by speaking to the protected party, police said. After a police investigation, Swett turned himself in.
He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in Yorktown Justice Court on May 11.
