YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Daniel O’Keefe, a Mohegan Lake resident, was charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday, according to Yorktown police.
Police said they received a report from a resident of Poe Court that a vehicle was being operated in an erratic manner and repeatedly was blowing its horn. Officers were dispatched to the scene and an investigation revealed O’Keefe, the driver of the car, was intoxicated, according to police. Police said O’Keefe was involved in an earlier dispute with a resident of Poe Court and that was the reason he was driving by the residence blowing his horn.
O’Keefe was transported to Yorktown police headquarters for processing. He is scheduled to appear at 6 p.m. May 28 in Yorktown Justice Court.
