YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Milad Kabuli, a 23-year old Mohegan Lake resident, was charged by Yorktown Police with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle on Sunday, Nov. 23, according to police.
Police say a report was received that a person passed out in a motor vehicle in the parking lot at 3911 Crompond Road in Yorktown. Kabuli was arrested on the DWI charges, according to police. Later, Kabuli submitted to a breath test and had a blood alcohol content level greater than .08 percent, which led to the additional charge, police said.
Kabuli was transported to Yorktown police headquarters for processing and released to a family member. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Jan. 6, for arraignment.
