Mohegan Lake Woman Threatens Officers, Yorktown Police Say

MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. -- A 40-year-old Mohegan Lake resident was arrested and charged Saturday after she allegedly threatened Yorktown Police and began screaming and shouting at them during an investigation.

Albana Vulaj was charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor. 

Police were dispatched to meet with Vulaj after a report of a domestic incident on Saturday at 11:35 p.m.. While meeting with her, she prevented police from investigating the incident, police said.

Vulaj was arrested and transported to headquarters for processing. She was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court on Oct. 3.
