Mount Kisco Resident Charged With DWI In Yorktown

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Henry A. Novillo, a 36-year-old Mount Kisco resident, has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and drove left of the pavement markings, a traffic infraction on Sunday, according to Yorktown police.

Police said an officer was dispatched to Pinesbridge Road on the report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, an officer found that Novillo's vehicle had gone off the roadway and was stuck in a snow embankment. Following an investigation, the officer found that Novillo was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and he drove left of the pavement markings, police said.

Novillo was placed under arrest and transported to the Yorktown police department for processing. Following a chemical test, police said Novillo was found to be operating the vehicle with a blood alcohol content level greater than .08.

Following processing on the charges, Novillo posted $100 bail, was issued an appearance ticket and released to a friend. Novillo is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, April 9 at 6 p.m.
