Napoli's Owner Accused Of Selling Cigarettes To Minors

YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Antonio DiFroscia, the 77-year-old owner of Napoli's Pizza, was charged with unlawfully dealing with a child in the second degree after police said he sold cigarettes to minors in his restaurant.

Officers Mark Rapisarda and Lawrence Paniccia conducted surveillance Saturday at the 1012 E. Main St. restaurant after police received reports of the alleged cigarette sales. Around 6:45 p.m., the officers allegedly observed DiFroscia sell a package of Marlboro Gold cigarettes to a 16-year-old male customer, according to the police report.

DiFroscia was processed on the misdemeanor charge and is due back in court Feb. 26.
