Police Looking For Suspect Accused Of Indecent Exposure In Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and Village of Cold Spring Police Department are investigating after a man allegedly exposed himself to a woman at the Butterfield Memorial Library Monday.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-10 with a stocky build, police said. He was wearing a blue Nike sweatshirt with gray sleeves and gray sweatpants, police said.

Investigators believe that the suspect may have recently committed similar incidents at other libraries in lower Dutchess County. 

 Authorities are asking people who have information about the suspect or his identity to call the Cold Spring Police Department at (845) 265-9111 or the Sheriff’s Office at (845) 225-4300. Calls will be kept confidential.
