Police: Yorktown Man Arrested On Bail Jumping Charge

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – Lamonte R. Frair, a 20-year-old Bronx resident, has been arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of bail jumping 3rd, a misdemeanor, on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Police said that on Tuesday, Sept. 2, Frair failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court for an appearance on a prior bail jumping charge. Police officers responded to Rikers Island and took custody of Frair who was being held there on an unrelated charge, according to police. Frair was transported to the Yorktown police department for processing.

Following processing, Frair was brought before the Yorktown Justice Court. Following his court appearance, he was returned to Rikers Island to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.
