Port Chester Resident Charged In Yorktown With Possession Of Marijuana

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A Port Chester man was recently arrested in Yorktown Heights on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana, according to a press release from the Yorktown Police Department.

Benedict M. Palomba, 19, was arrested about 9 p.m. Friday at Veterans Road, according to police.

Authorities were investigating a suspicious vehicle parked at a closed business, and say they found Palomba in the vehicle with marijuana.

Officers arrested Palomba and later released him on his own recognizance.

Palomba’s arraignment on the marijuana violation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, in Yorktown Justice Court, police said.
