Purchase Woman Charged With DWI In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Purchase woman was arrested for driving while under the influence by Yorktown Police after crashing her car at the intersection of Blinn Road and Journey's End Road.

According to Yorktown Police, Marlina Gomez, 21, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane and failure to keep right, after they responded to a single car accident in which police found Gomez at the scene of the accident intoxicated.

Gomez was processed at the Yorktown Police headquarters and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. She is schedule to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on April 5.
