Ceferino Garcia, 36, Daremus Reynolds, 35, and Frank Pasqua Jr., 36, were charged after a search of the jail on March 28 as officers were suspicious that drugs were being smuggled into the jail by an outsider during a visit, authorities said.

Heroin, suboxone and other drugs were found both on inmates and in their cells, authorities said.

All three inmates were charged with varying degrees of criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree promotion of prison contraband, authorities said.

Garcia and Reynolds were remanded back to the jail on $10,000 bail, while Pasqua's bail was set at $100,000, authorities said.
