Putnam Valley Man Charged With Driving With Suspended License In Yorktown

PUTNAM VALLEY, N.Y. – A Putnam Valley man was arrested in Yorktown Sunday for driving with a suspended license and other traffic violations, according to the Yorktown Police Department.

Arsenio R. Ortiz, 44, was stopped at around 1:58 p.m. on Route 6 for allegedly speeding. An investigation on scene also found that the vehicle he was driving was unregistered. He was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, speeding, uninspected motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and improper plates, said police.

He was released on $100 bail and is due in Yorktown Court Thursday, Nov. 5, according to the report.
