Putnam Valley Man Charged With Selling Marijuana In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A Putnam Valley man is facing charges of possessing and selling marijuana following an investigation by the Yorktown police and the Northern Westchester Drug Task Force, police said.

Brian F. Browne was charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession, a violation.

Brian F. Browne, 19, of Cimarron Road, Putnam Valley, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sale, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession, a violation, police said.

He was released and given a court date of 6 p.m., Dec. 1, in Yorktown Justice Court.

Police said the investigation started back in July. He sold marijuana to another person on two separate dates, police said.
