Shrub Oak Resident Charged With DWI Following Accident

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- The Yorktown Police Department arrested a Shrub Oak man for driving under the influence and failure to yield the right of way causing a one-car accident.

According to police, Aldo Murillo, 26, was involved in a single-car accident around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 on Route 6 near East Main Street. When police arrived, they found Murillo had failed to yield the right of way and was allegedly driving while intoxicated, police said.

He was transported to the Yorktown PD where Murillo posted $100 bail and was released to a family member. He is set to appear in court in Yorktown on Dec. 1 for arraignment, police said.
