Suspect Charged In Yorktown With Violating Order Of Protection

CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- A man from Mohegan Lake was charged in Yorktown with criminal contempt in the second degree and aggravated unlicensed operation, police said.

Brandon A. Gonzalez, 32, was stopped on Thursday, April 14, by officers on Old Yorktown Road, following a report of a temporary of protection violation at a home in Yorktown, police said.

Gonzalez was accused of violating an order of protection to personally communicate with a protected party and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.

He was released on his own recognizance following arraignment. Gonzalez is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, April 28.
