Teenager Charged With Marijuana Possession In Yorktown

YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Yorktown police have arrested a Mohegan Lake teenager on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.

On Jan. 10, a police officer patrolling Buckhorn Street became suspicious of a car parked in the cul-de-sac and subsequently arrested the teen.

The 16-year-old male’s name was withheld because he is eligible for youthful-offender status, police said.

The teen was issued an appearance ticket and released to a parent, police said. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Feb. 17.
