Three men already in custody in Putnam County were arrested and charged Thursday with grand larceny after Yorktown Police said they stole $1,462.13 worth of merchandise from CVS on Commerce Street in April.

Rasheem Smith, a 28-year-old Brooklyn resident, Jose More, a 32-year-old resident of the Bronx, and Keya Wilmont, a 29-year-old and also a resident of the Bronx, were charged with the Class E felony.

Police had previously arrested another man in conjunction with the crime.

The three were in custody in Putnam County after a similar incident in Carmel, and were transported to Yorktown Police Headquarters, police said. Bail was set and they were turned back over to the Putnam County Jail.

They are due back in court on June 8.
