YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Two people have been charged with stealing more than $200 worth of merchandise from Sears in Yorktown, police said.
Julia Castellitto, 53, and Johnny Hernandez, 49, both of Mahopac, were arrested at the store at the Jefferson Valley Mall on Sunday, Feb. 28, police said.
They have both been charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Police say they took $201.92 worth of items without paying for them.
Castellitto and Hernandez were released on their own recognizance and ordered to appear in Yorktown Justice Court in April.
