YORKTOWN, N.Y. – A Yonkers woman was recently charged with two misdemeanors while driving in Yorktown, according to New York State Police.
Emily S. Vallario, 32, was charged March 7 with driving while intoxicated and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Troopers from the Stormville barracks had stopped Vallario for speeding, then realized she was intoxicated and in possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
The press release did not specify the nature of the illegal controlled substance but said Vallario had a 0.14 blood alcohol level and was driving on the Taconic State Parkway.
