YORKTOWN, N. Y. -- A 35-year-old Staten Island woman is facing a petit larceny charge after police said she tried to walk out of a Sears store in Yorktown with $379.99 of merchandise without paying.
Zengying Chen is charged with the class A misdemeanor after police were called to the store around 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27.
She was released on $500 cash bail, and due back in court at 6 p.m. April 5, police said.
