Woman Charged With Stealing From Taconic Pharmacy

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown woman was charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor, on Thursday, Nov. 5, according to Yorktown police.

Christine M. Sparano allegedly stole a lice kit and bedding spray valued at a total of $27.88 from the Taconic Pharmacy, Yorktown police report.

The theft allegedly occurred on Nov. 4, according to Yorktown police.

Sparano, 45, was arrested when the owner of the pharmacy, located at 3659 Lee Road, called police after Sparano returned to the store the following day, officials report.

After processing at police headquarters, Sparano was issued an appearance ticket directing her to answer the charge against her in Yorktown Court on December 3, Yorktown police report.

Sparano was then released on her own recognizance, according to Yorktown police.
