Yorktown Girl, 17, Charged With Throwing Eggs At House

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A 17-year-old female from Yorktown, whose name is being withheld due to her eligibility for youthful offender status, has been charged with criminal tampering in the third degree after throwing eggs at a residence Tuesday, according to Yorktown police.

Police said an officer responded to investigate a report of a house that was egged on Sutton Street. An investigation revealed the female had thrown eggs at the house, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

The female was issued an appearance ticket to appear in court at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 in the Yorktown Justice Court for arraignment.
