Yorktown Homeowner Struck In Reported Burglary Attempt

UPDATE 9:50 A.M.: The incident at Hitching Post Lane was not a burglary attempt, according Lt. Kevin Soravilla. It is being treated as a domestic incident.

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown homeowner was reportedly struck Monday afternoon when he interrupted a burglary in process at his Hitching Post Lane home, police said.

Police are searching for the suspect - described as a white male in his 40s - who reportedly left the scene around 2:10 p.m. in an unknown vehicle.
