Police said a report was received on March 28 that a Yorktown resident had the tire of her vehicle slashed. An officer was assigned to investigate and after the investigation was completed Dimargo was identified as the person who slashed her tires, according to police. Further investigation revealed that the victim had an order of protection against Dimargo leading to the content charge, police said.
Dimargo surrendered himself at Yorktown police headquarters on Tuesday. He was arrested and processed. He was arraigned by Judge Raniolo and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He is scheduled to returned to Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, May 5 at 6 p.m.
