Yorktown Man, 49, Charged With DWI, Possession Of Cocaine

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Yorktown man with driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine on Wednesday, Dec. 3, according to officials.

Willman E. Romero, 49, was pulled over on the Taconic State Parkway for allegedly failing to maintain his lane of travel. Upon pulling Romero over, authorities suspected him of being intoxicated, police said.

Romero provided a breath sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.15 percent. He was also found to be in possession of about 14 grams of cocaine, police said. 

Romero was remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail, police said.
