Yorktown Man Arrested On DWI Charge In Mahopac

A Yorktown man was arrested on a drunk driving charge after a traffic stop in Mahopac on Saturday, May 14.

Deputy Sheriff Jonathan Irwin pulled over a car on Route 6 at 2:22 a.m.

During the stop, Irwin determined that the driver, Patrik Bores, 32, of 1916 Baldwin Road in Yorktown was intoxicated. 

Bores was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he failed a series of standardized field sobriety tests. During the arrest, the deputy found that Bores was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and additionally charged him with unlawful possession. 

The defendant was processed at the Putnam County Correctional Facility and held pending arraignment.
