Yorktown Man Charged With Failure To Appear In Court

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – John W. Drenga, a 20-year-old Yorktown resident, has been charged on an arrest warrant for failing to appear on an original charge of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, according to Yorktown police.

Police said Drenga failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court for an appearance related to a prior aggravated unlicensed operation charge. Drenga voluntarily surrendered to the Yorktown police department, where he was arrested and processed on the warrant Tuesday.

Following processing on the charge, Drenga was brought before the Yorktown Justice Court, where he was arraigned. Drenga was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 in Yorktown Justice Court.
