YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man was charged with violating a protective order after an incident Tuesday night.
Jack H. Kahan, 69, was charged with a criminal contempt misdemeanor after the domestic incident at 8:10 p.m. Police said Kahan pushed a woman to the ground, violating a temporary protection order issued by Westchester County Family Court.
Judge Gary Rainolo set bond at $50,000. Kahan was unable to post bond and was remanded to Westchester County jail. He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on July 7.
